Great place for kayakers! Lazy Days is the perfect spot to watch the 'commuters' (i.e. boat traffic) come and go into Boothbay Harbor and out to the Atlantic. From your private water-side deck, you have one of the best views around. Relax with your beverage of choice and watch the sun go down. Swim from the shared, pebble beach or walk into town (about two miles) for a meal or to shop. Packages too heavy to walk home? Not a problem, hop onto the trolley that will take you to the East Side of the Harbor and drop you off at the old Boothbay Region Lobstermen's Co-op, the walk will be easier from there. Lazy Days is a great location for a nice lazy vacation in Mid-coast Maine!
SO MUCH TO SEE, SO MUCH TO DO!
Adventurers are welcome too! Rent kayaks, take sailing lessons, grab the water-taxi into the harbor for a whale watch or sunset cruise. Explore the Boothbay Region Land Trust trails at Lobster Cover or check out the many tide pools along the rocky coastline.
Walk down to the shared pebbly beach through the spacious, flowering yard to launch your kayak or canoe. Bring your own or rent locally! Step back in time with a rousing game of badminton or croquette on this large, beautifully landscaped lawn. Your family and friends will look forward to coming back to this cottage at the edge of the sea time and time again.
There is so much to do from this easy location, so pack your walking shoes, sailing shoes, dancing shoes and at least one pair of flip flops! And don't forget your camera because you are going to want to remember every single second!
Lazy Days is an old fisherman's domicile - though modernized – it has quaint and historic flavor combined with comfort, space and a fabulous view.
Hardwood floors through-out the main floor are both beautiful and eclectic. The decor reflects the authentic nautical history of the cottage's original owners. The living room also has a table for games or cards while enjoying the breathtaking views of the harbor entrance through the sliders leading to the deck. Al fresco dining on the open porch is lovely. A screen & glass porch is an additional sitting area, including a single-size Day Bed. A den with a pull-out (double) couch and half-bath are also located on this floor.
On the second floor there is a Master Bedroom with a Queen Bed, a bedroom with Two Single Beds, and a "wee" bedroom with One Single Bed, as well as a full size bathroom. There is a Double Bed in the "through" room (one walks through this room to get to the next).

WHY BOOK WITH COTTAGE CONNECTION?
Vacation Rentals. Privately Owned. Professionally Managed. Trusted since 1993.
Cottage Connection was one of the first vacation rental companies in the Mid-coast region of Maine. Jeff and Audrey Miller, who own three vacation rental homes themselves had an aha moment when they realized they could not find anyone who 'got it' to manage their rentals for them. Since 1993 they have been trusted by homeowners and vacationers to "connect" each family with the perfect cottage for their vacation. As Audrey puts it; "The home they stay in becomes a personality, a part of their lore when a family connects with the right cottage. Whether they want a rustic cabin in the woods or a high-end ocean bungalow, the right setting sets the tone for the entire vacation."
