A treasured family cabin on Linekin Bay is ready for you to settle in for a memorable Maine Vacation. This four bedroom, one bath cottage is quaint and rustic, yet comfortably furnished throughout. The classic log construction built among the trees offers fantastic views of Linekin Bay as well as a new private deep water dock and float. Whether you love outdoor adventures or simply enjoy relaxing on the porch with friends and family, good times are inevitable at Linekin Log Cabin.
THE HOUSE: A single-level rustic cabin with modern amenities. Guests will be welcomed by patches of day lilies and other wild flowers as they arrive. Enter through the kitchen with dining table that comfortably seats four. Skylights in the kitchen and living room allow natural light to illuminate the cabin. Guests can also enjoy the water views while lounging or dining out on the screened porch, accessible from the living room. A working wood fireplace is the centerpiece of the living room; perfect to curl up in front of on those cool summer nights. This is one of the few properties in our program to have both a full indoor bathroom as well as an outdoor shower. BEDROOMS: The first of four bedrooms has a Double bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds, the third bedroom has one single bed and the last bedroom also has one single bed. The full bathroom with claw foot tub and shower is just behind the kitchen area. The outdoor shower stall is located at the back of the cabin on the water side.

LINENS PROVIDED? No, linens are not provided. Bed linens and towels can be rented through us (for a fee) or brought from home. (Pillows, comforters and blankets are provided by the owner). Please contact us for more details.
The owner of this property has supplied two kayaks for guests to use during their stay. We advise guests bring their own life vests to insure proper fit and condition. East Boothbay makes a wonderful home-base for vacationers to the Boothbay area.Visitors are encouraged to explore this beautiful part of the peninsula with walking trails that are part of the Boothbay Region Land Trust with its 30+ miles of pet friendly trails in protected areas. Have local guides take you on sea-kayak adventures and see coastal Maine from an entirely different angle. Restaurants in East Boothbay include Lobsterman's Wharf, The Carriage House, Ocean Point Inn and The East Boothbay General Store. A full service Marina is located behind the Post Office. Great walking trails and of course incredible ocean views abound in this unique part of the Boothbay Peninsula. Head into Boothbay Harbor for boating excursions, whale and puffin watches, sunset and reggae cruises and sailing trips. Be sure to visit the Maine State Aquarium and the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens while you're here. Grimes Cove is the perfect spot for salt water swimming and Knickerbocker Lake for a fresh water dip! Rent bikes or mopeds and ride along the coast from East Boothbay out to Southport Island or around Barter's Island.
